Presenters will discuss emerging legislative trends, compliance requirements and reducing non-compliance risk in June 8 presentation

As corporations expand into new international markets, the support needed to manage their cross-border subsidiaries and branches has markedly increased. To help legal professionals navigate challenges associated with international growth, Wolters Kluwer CT Corporation will host a webinar – “Emerging Trends in Managing Global Entities” – on June 8 at 1 PM ET.

During the presentation, CT Corporation experts will delve into a wide range of topics, including best practices for handling compliance requirements, global corporate governance, and other legislative considerations. Speakers will also discuss the general expansion of U.S. companies into global markets and provide examples of recent jurisdictional changes to laws and regulations impacting many international organizations.

“Global entity management is not a one-size-fits-all process, and managing expansion across multiple jurisdictions can seem overwhelming,” said Domingo Vazquez, Vice President and Head of Corporations, Wolters Kluwer CT Corporation. “We have designed our solutions to ensure consistency across processes and standards. We remove the worry so that our clients can maximize their return on investment and focus on establishing their core business mission.”

Presenting their insights during the webinar are Devlin Fisher and Robert McHugh, both of whom are Global Sales Support Managers at CT Corporation. Fisher and McHugh will also discuss what U.S. companies are doing to operate efficiently, and they will outline other changes and trends that legal professionals can expect for the rest of the year and beyond. Additionally, this complimentary presentation has been presumptively approved for 1.0 substantive CLE credit hours in California, Illinois, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Fisher consults with CT Corporation’s international law firm and corporate customers on matters related to global corporate entity formation and dissolution, restructuring, entity compliance, global due-diligence work and more. He also tracks trends and changes in international jurisdictional corporate law that may affect global organizations.

McHugh supports CT’s account management teams, its Global Service team, and law firm customers. In this role, he consults on complex transactional and managed services projects, including entity formation and dissolution, annual compliance, and large-scale entity reorganizations.  He also consults with law firms as to best case practices for undertaking complex global due diligence projects that support M&A, bankruptcy, and other types of transactional initiatives.

CT Corporation provides a suite of entity management solutions that are always available no matter when and where a client’s business takes them. The company can prepare a custom, tailor-made solution to support an organization’s unique global entity management needs.
